Heat Seal too hot

The heat seal gets extremely hot. Too hot, that it doesn't seal more than 3 bags at a time. It easily damages delicate foods. I've had this a month. I've used it three times, seems worse with each use. It is way overpriced. Do not waste your time and energry on this product.
