Love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a real workhorse. The nonstick coating is substantial. I’ve had good luck cooking eggs in this pan

A glint of diamond, the heft of quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The promise of this pan is longevity, enhanced by tiny industrial diamonds sparkling when the pan is held up to sunlight. I haven’t had the pan long enough to speak about longevity, but I can confess to certain information about ruggedness: If you want a non-stick pan to remain non-stick for long, you must use non-metallic spatulas, spoons, etc. , to prevent the scratches that end its effective life. I chose to continue this practice with my new pan regardless of Hestan’s claim. That lasted about a week when I found myself wielding a stainless steel fish spatula, prepared to gently lift a trout from the pan. Things did not go well. At the last second, the fish spatula rotated in my hand, and the sharp edge of the spatula dug into the non-stick layer with a loud scraping sound followed by an even louder wail from me. I, of course, immediately abandoned the offending fish spatula and just tipped the pan, sliding the trout out onto the plate. Then it was time to assess the obvious damage. Except there wasn’t any damage, obvious or otherwise. The pan was pristine. So it appears the pan will last, but how does it cook? Great. A good pan needs heft. It takes a certain amount of heat-conductive metal to prevent the hot spots that thin pans suffer from, and I like that metal sandwiched between stainless steel and whatever material might be used for the inside. It certainly adds to the aesthetics on the day you buy it, but, with the most minimal care, keeps the product looking new. It’s been my experience that Hestan products uniformly stay brilliant. With the evidence now In that the coating can take serious abuse without damage, I’m convinced enough to buy a few more sizes of the same pan. Yes, they are really expensive, but the cost per cook, cost per year ensure that, in the long run, they are an above average value.

Really nice, but for the price it should be!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're into high end cookware, your at the right place. It's my only non-stick after a lifetime of car iron only. It's a nice addition, but wow! Many $$$$
