Beautiful, Versatile

Perfect for braising roasts and finishing in the oven…and then straight to the table. The extra handle is essential for moving the pan as it is large, and when full, quite heavy.

My Nonna Would Approve!!!

I recently moved from Washington to California, and left much of my previous cookware behind for the new owners of my house, as it was induction-ready and they have four kids and clearly needed to be cooking immediately! (Plus, it wasn't great stuff). I brought a long-treasured soup pot and a very small (maybe 1/2-qt) saucepan with me, knowing that I was going to look for just a few important open-stock pieces once moved in. I read loads of reviews, and settled on Hestan NanoBond for the two saucepans I needed, and the copper for the larger (5-qt) pan. It had to be big enough to make 4 quarts of pasta sauce (my Nonna's recipe, passed down many generations in our Tuscan famiglia) and still be able to have room to start with more liquid than the finished product, and to stir the sauce. AND, it had to live up to my Nonna's sauce requirements (even heating, able to get the vegetables really browned without burning, etc). Today was my first sauce-making in my new house, and boy did this pan perform! I'm in love. I am looking forward to many years of Hestan happiness!!
