WORST ONLINE PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I ordered the And This Now 2.18" hoops in 14k gold over sterling silver. I had purchased two other pairs of these in-store earlier in the year and wanted to have an extra pair. They sent me a completely different brand of gold hoops with gold over brass (I am allergic to brass and I specifically ordered gold over sterling silver). Wrong brand, wrong material, and the gold tone was even completely different! I am in the middle of moving and didn't want to deal with shipping and waiting; just wanted to return locally and be done with it. First I called Customer Service to make sure I wouldn't have any issues with the shipping being refunded as well if I returned to my local Macys. They assured me it wouldn't be a problem so I went to the Macys at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila WA, basement floor customer service. I ended up spending almost an hour there dealing with this! First, the checker said they could only be returned for the purchase price and we went round and round about that. She finally called for a manager and we waited a long time for him. He finally gets there and we figure out that when I called the Online Orders Customer Service earlier that day, unbeknownst to me they had already refunded the order. All that rigamarole and wasting of everyone's time by them! So I leave the earrings with them and they say there is no receipt to give me because the return was already processed. I said I had better not have any issues because this has been a fiasco from minute one! They assured me there would be no issues. WELL, a week ago I get an email from Macys reminding me that the return has been processed and that I need to return the item or they reserve the right to recharge me!!!! I immediately call them and tell them about this entire fiasco and the guys puts me on hold, comes back and tells me to disregard the email and assures me that I won't have any further issues. Well, guess what? I got yet another email today--on Thanksgiving 11/23/23--again telling me they will recharge me if I don't return the item which I already returns at the store!!!! All of this incompetence and stupidity is causing me problems and upset that I don't need when I am in the middle of moving!!!

Do not purchase!! The clip on the back is not strong enough for the earring to stay on.

Earrings don’t stay on

Earrings do not stay on. Just turning your head causes them to fall off. This is a NO NO NO purchase.
