Purchased this topper to soften a firm mattress. I just needed a small amount of softness and the 1.5" thickness is perfect. It's not like memory foam, it's wool, so it creates a minimal sink-in feel but still feels soft. This topper is beautifully made and fits the mattress exactly as intended. The elastic bands hold the topper in place. Very happy with purchase.

This is the best! I had to get a very hard mattress for my back pain since I need the firm support. But the mattress is too too hard. I don't want to get a memory foam or latex topper which will completely change the way the mattress feels, and I don't want to feel sinking into the bed again, which hurts my back. So I searched for a wool topper option. This topper gives me the cushioning I need but doesn't alter the support my mattress gives me. It doesn't get hot either. It's exactly what I'm looking for. The packaging and material all feel organic and there's no smell. I used it right out of box. It's been a while since I slept well but this made it happen, I'm so happy.

Just perfect! No allergies, organic merino wool topper, and it will even make cheap ikea mattress more comfortable than it is. I realized simple, wool and cotton products are the best. You don't really need more than this topper. It doesn't protect your mattress against water spillage but it gives comfort and extra cushion and relives pressure points.

I bought this topper along with the Sleep & Beyond merino wool comforter as part of their 4 season experience and could not be happier! We have a memory foam mattress that makes me sleep super hot and waking up in the middle of the night, but this miracle topper solved this issue and saved us so much money on getting another mattress! Absolutely loving it!

Wow, what a buy!!! I just can’t picture myself spending that much money on a bed topper but I tried a few different ones that I didn’t like because they have chemicals and I could smell them and they bothered me but this one, had zero smell and it is just as cozy as they come. The main thing I notice about it is I do not wake up sweating in this horrible California heat, so this is a fantastic buy and I highly recommend it even though it’s pretty darn expensive it’s a good buy
