Poor Quality

I wanted to like this desk so badly because I loved the way it looked online, but I just spent the last two hours putting together a very shoddy product. The hardware that comes with it strips easily with any pressure and I did what the instructions said "do not use a drill". The faux marble top was warped so it never sat correctly on base. Base is wobbly. Draw fell apart. This is particle board which is deceiving because another reviewer said it was wood. It's not wood. I have to return it : (

It is real wood.... not particle board! Happy!

It's sturdy and very attractive. I am very happy with it. The size and appearance is as it's described in their listing. It took awhile to get assembled, but it was not difficult to understand. The directions were in English and easy to understand. There were very explicit diagrams and all the pieces are numbered, so it made the assembly effort less.
