Disappointed

I purchased this trike/bike as a birthday present for my granddaughter. I thought it would be good to put it together before giving it to her. Good thing that I did as when I opened the box, a few parts were not wrapped in plastic as most were. Upon putting it together, I discovered that the third major piece that holds the handle bar on was missing. So, I put it all back in the box, contacted Macys via their website and received return instructions to seal the box, print out the return slip, place the return label on the outside of the box and take it to a UPS store, which I did that same day. I received an email a little before midnight with further instructions from Macys informing me that the company wanted a photo image of the box being returned...intimating that it might affect my refund. I sent back a detailed message about how I no longer had the box, but did have the receipt that I took it to the UPS store. Now I await to see if this company and Macys will be honorable and refund my money. If I receive the refund, then my rating would improve
