Love this! Ive been searching awhile and finally found one that i could afford and its beautiful and just the right size and weight. Makes me so happy. I can’t wear other medal so it was important to me to get a gold one.
False Price Advertising
Regularly advertised at an inflated price more than 3 times the "sale" price. After receiving it, the regular price on the box was substantially less as seen in photos. This led me to research a bit where I found the exact same piece for much less elsewhere and I returned this to Macy's. Note that this is also hollow which is not mentioned in the description.
False advertising or wrong product?
Very disappointed. Description says the medal is 1 in in width but the product I was sent was just over 1/2 in. The item I was sent was so small it didn’t even have the inscription on the back as shown in the pictures, presumably because it couldn’t fit. The inscription is the whole purpose of the medal. I returned it already to the store.
Medal Description is False
The description of the medal was totally false. It was stated to be 1 3/8 inch by 1 inch. I have measured the medal which I received and it's 1 inch by 1 inch. There's quite a bit of gold content difference between what they describe and the actual size of the medal (it's NOT a charm, by the way, it's a religious medal). Shame on Macy's, a company which many people have believed in and trusted for many decades, for false representation of the size of this medal!

Shocked
I always thought Macy’s was a gold standard, I now think otherwise the cross that was sent to me was not all gold it was only inlaid with gold and I doubt if there was a penny weight worth of gold that it was a total rip off and I’m shocked shocked that Macy’s would do something like that. I am returning it.
