Perfect for my needs
This machine is perfect. The coffee is beautiful and I didn’t have to play around with adjustments it made perfect coffee straight out of the box.

Extreme dissatisfaction
I’m on my second machine within 2 years. The model I have is not made anymore, I wonder why. Needless to say, I received a replacement machine after the first one completely went out and stopped working, of course I had to jump through a bunch of hoops before Delonghi would replace it, had to send videos of each issue I was having then eventually had to send the whole machine back to delonghi for them to check it out before replacing it, major hassle. Within months of receiving the new machine the milk frother stopped working properly, I don’t even bother with the grinder because that keeps working intermittently, all of this to say, save your money and buy from a reputable company that knows how to make quality espresso machines, i.e. La Marzocco. Extremely disappointed with this purchase, but I should’ve known better.

just toss your money out the window just trash
complete trash had one for 2.5 years sent it back twice to get fixed under warranty. now the grinder goes bad. and the sad thing i bought my daughter one for house warming gift, i feel bad now for buying her something that wont last.

Feels Like a Step Backward
I bought this to replace La Specialista Prestigio. I had that machine for 5 years with one in-warranty repair. Prestigio was great! Reliable, consistent, easy to use, no nonsense, quality. Unfortunately, I broke the Prestigio as I was trying to clean it. I could have sent it back for repairs, but the cost of that was the better part of the cost of a new machine. Since my machine was five years old, I decided to go with a new Arte. The price point was similar, but that’s about it. The arte is definitely a lower quality machine. It has as lot more plastic, feels lighter and cheaper, seems less ergonomic and intuitive, and performs worse. I like that it has a few more settings (like temperature), and I even like that the tamping and steaming are more hands on, but I overall, I am not happy with the machine. I wish the Prestigio were still an option. I miss my old machine.

Good product
Good product, happy with it but the porte filter is hard to put in not sure why, I also wish it was less plastic. My breville before same size was nice and heavy this one I have to hold to twist in the porte filter.

Fun espresso machine
Compact machine but works like a pro! It took me few hours to fine tune my settings but I now make coffees and lattes ad good as some of the best local fancy coffee shops. You can do the same as long as you buy good quality beans. This machine let you adjust all the parameters, it’s really fun to use. It is well built and seems very durable. It comes with all accessories (but the knock box that we ordered the next day). If you look for any easy one button machine, it’s not for you. It takes some work to get the coffe right, but De’Longhi put all the control buttons to get there. It is then up to you to get them in the right position to get the best of the coffee beans you put in!
