Routine is key, which means your fur bud will need their own dog bowls. There are plenty to pick from and each has benefits. Stainless steel dog bowls are super durable and easy to clean. Ceramic options come in fun colors and aren’t as easy for frisky pups to push around. Some dog owners choose elevated dog bowls or those with a stand that are easier on the joints and aid with digestion.
Dog training never ends, which means you’re going to need some incentives, aka dog treats. We’ve seen plenty of dog training tools in our day, but nothing works as well as a good-smelling piece of jerky.
Dog Accessories
A perfect-fitting dog collar and one durable dog leash are must-haves. A walking harness is also a good option that gives you a little more control on long hikes and walks.
In inclement weather, dog clothes like a waterproof vest or a dog sweater will help keep them dry and warm.
Your cuddle bud should also have a proper dog bed to snuggle up in at night. Puppies and younger dogs might need to be kept in a dog crate until they are potty trained.

Keep your dog’s coat clean and healthy with an at-home dog grooming kit. Puppy grooming should start at about 12 weeks and adult dogs should be brushed at least 1-3 times per week. Equip yourself with basic dog grooming tools like a de-shedding brush, nail trimmer and toothbrush.
