Is there a membership fee?
Yes. The Red Carpet by Macy’s membership is $59/year.

Who can sign up?
Red Carpet by Macy’s membership is currently only available in select stores. Enrollment is subject to capacity limits. Once the maximum number of participants is reached, no further enrollments will be accepted. Participating stores are listed above.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?
With a Red Carpet by Macy’s membership, you get access to Free Standard U.S. Shipping on qualifying purchases, a 90-day returns window on most items (that’s 60 days more than everyone else!), member-only savings like Early Access to Our Best Sales and Exclusive Offers on Top Brands, Extra 5% Back in Rewards (that’s 5 bonus points per $1 spent) on Rewards Earning Purchases on top of points earned as a Star Rewards member, and Priority Booking with a personal stylist. Please note: members who enrolled prior to April 14, 2025 are eligible for a total of three (3) free Same-Day or Next-Day Delivery offers during their original Effective Period that began prior to April 14, 2025.

How do I redeem my benefits?

Extra 5% Back in Rewards (5 bonus points per $1): Simply shop on macys.com or in stores and checkout as a Star Rewards member in order to earn points. You will start earning 5 bonus points per $1 spent on eligible purchases after one week of enrollment. Once a Star Rewards account accumulates 1,000 points, a $10 Star Money reward is issued.

Free Standard U.S. Shipping: Just shop on macys.com and sign into your Macy’s online account with the email associated with your membership. Free Shipping will automatically be applied at checkout. For details and exclusions, see here.

Extended Returns: To make returns in-store past 30 days, simply show your Red Carpet by Macy’s membership card to the store colleague at a participating store. To initiate a mail-in return past 30 days for items ordered on macys.com, call a dedicated concierge. More restrictive return policies apply in certain departments and the extended return policy does not apply in those departments. Please review “Exceptions to the Return Policy” here. Furniture, mattresses, rugs, items identified as “shipped and sold by” third-party sellers and items sold through leased departments are also excluded.

Early Access to Our Best Sales + Exclusive Offers on Top Brands: Exclusive offers will be communicated to you throughout your membership. Make sure you are subscribed to Macy’s marketing emails to receive communications about these offers.

Same-Day Delivery (for members who enrolled prior to April 14, 2025 only): Call a dedicated concierge to place an order. To shop for items eligible for Same-Day Delivery, use the “Shop Your Store” menu in the top navigation of macys.com and select “Shop Same-Day Delivery”. Orders must be placed by 12:00pm local time for Same-Day Delivery. Orders placed after 12:00pm will be delivered the next day. Items delivered next day will count against your 3 Same-Day Deliveries.

When will I start getting my benefits?
Your Red Carpet by Macy’s membership and most of its benefits will be activated within 30-45 minutes of your purchase. You will start earning 5 bonus points per $1 spent on eligible purchases after one week of enrollment. Keep an eye out for a welcome email with more information delivered to your inbox. You will also receive a membership card in the mail within 10 days to use in-store.

How long is my membership valid?
Your Red Carpet by Macy’s membership will be active for one year from the date that it was purchased.

How do I cancel or pause my membership?
Membership cannot be cancelled or paused.

Can I gift a membership to a friend or family member?
No, you may not gift a membership to a friend or family member at this time.

What do I do if my card never arrives, or I lose my card?

Will my membership automatically renew at the end of one year?
No, your membership will not be automatically renewed at the end of your term.
