How to measure for a suit

Step 1: over arms
Step 1: over arms
Stand with your hands at your side & measure around the broadest part of your shoulders.
Step 2: chest
Step 2: chest
Measure around the upper body, below your armpits, and over the fullest part of your chest & back.
Step 3: waist
Step 3: waist
Bend to one side to find where your waist naturally creases & measure, keeping the tape comfortably loose.
Step 4: inseam
Step 4: inseam
Stand straight with your legs slightly apart & measure from the top of your inner thigh to the bottom of your ankle.
Jackets are determined by your chest measurement plus the desired coat length—short, regular, or long (e.g., 38S, 40R, 42L).
Pants use a drop measurement. To find your drop, subtract 6-7 inches from the over-arm measurement. This will give you the waist size (e.g., 29, 30, 32).

Skinny-fit suits can be worn by anyone, including individuals with a muscular build. The key is finding a suit that provides comfort & mobility.
